Private Yoga

I offer a variety of private yoga classes for all levels. Whether you’re new to yoga and want a one-on-one class before starting any group classes, or a busy businessperson who needs classes tailored to your specific needs and times, I can help! I offer in-home/in-office/in-hotel yoga sessions to people of all ages, all walks of life, and in any physical condition. My students range from those who feel intimidated by the fast pace and difficult poses in group classes to complete beginners who want to get in better shape, manage pain, muscle stiffness or stress.

Yoga for Sports/Athletes

Strength, and speed are directly related to proper body mechanics: when our body is properly aligned, we can transmit force much more efficiently and perform better across the board. Whatever your sport, by returning your body to its optimal alignment, yoga can help you reduce power leakage in your deads and cleans, improve running gait and efficiency, and help you punch, jump, or throw more explosively. Yoga has also been proven to dramatically enhance circulation, digestion, and efficiency of motion, which all further improve energy and endurance. Of course, the list goes on and on. In addition to the above, yoga’s been clinically proven to improve immune function, balance hormonal balance and improve stress management, all extremely beneficial to athletes.

Whether you’re a basketball player, rock climber, cyclist or runner (just to name a few) I can tailor a class specifically for you and your needs.

Yoga for Seniors

It’s never too late to start doing yoga! As we age we need more gentle movement to keep the muscles from stiffening or weakening. Many of my senior clients have seen significant changes since practicing yoga regularly, including faster healing, pain reduction, etc. I offer various modalities of yoga, including chair yoga. Whether your ailments are related to age, weight, disability or pain issues, chair yoga creates a safe and comfortable environment to learn and practice yoga.

Wedding Party Yoga

The days leading up to a wedding can be stressful for all parties involved, whether it’s the Bride/Groom, the Wedding Party, the in-laws, etc. Yoga is one of the best ways to calm the mind and body and set the tone for the big day. I offer one-on-one classes or group classes the days leading up to the wedding or the morning of.

I also offer couples yoga, before the wedding, during the honeymoon, or for anyone wanting to get to a higher level of intimacy with their significant other. Yoga not only stretches the body, making you more relaxed and flexible, but also de- stresses and calms the mind so you can enjoy your time together fully.

Yoga + Hike

Take a short or long hike and a yoga class with an amazing view! Outdoor yoga is an excellent way to see some of the many wonderful Arizona attractions, from must-see landmarks, botanical gardens, city venues or unique restaurants, combining your yoga event with other sightseeing activities. Make it a morning to remember to kick start your day or an evening yoga class while watching the sunset!

I also offer day-trips to nearby cities for hikes/yoga classes, including Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, the vineyards in Cottonwood & historic cowboy bars in Kingman, etc. I can also schedule a shuttle/bus for transportation if needed.

On Location Yoga

Bachelorette/Bachelor Parties/Golf Groups/Etc:
Looking for something relaxing or fun to do on a Bachelorette/Bachelor party, Golf Trip or girls/guys weekend in Scottsdale or Phoenix? A yoga class is the perfect complement! Start or end your day with some yoga stretching/zen/meditation class or request a power class for more active groups. A yoga class is ideal to help stretch and recover from a night of celebrating or set the tone for a day of activities.

I come to you: whether it be an AirBnb, hotel or an outdoor space – with yoga mats for everyone! If it’s too hot outdoors, I offer classes in a pool or indoor space. I tailor the yoga classes to all levels of yoga students: beginners and intermediate or advanced options. If you are preparing for a particular activity (i.e. Golf) I can customize the class to include poses that work those particular muscles. And I pair it all with your choice of peaceful/zen music or upbeat/modern tracks!

Corporate Yoga

You don’t have to bend over backwards to be healthy at work – but it helps.

In fact, back bending yoga poses promote better posture, facilitate easier
breathing and improve spinal flexibility. And don’t worry – we normally teach very basic yoga poses, not this highly advanced one.

Wish your workplace were more flexible?
Even if your workplace isn’t flexible, you can be. Over time as we age, our muscles lose elasticity and we get more “shrink-wrapped”. Yoga is one of the best ways to combat aging and improve flexibility.
